78 – ‘Uncommonly Normal’ Heads out into the World!

UncommonlyNormal-2On the Edge!

Today we start our mini series on families that are just at the beginning of their adventures. They’ve been inspired, maybe here, maybe elsewhere, they’ve downsized, and minimized, and are now on the edge of the abyss, staring down into a fascinating new adventure, not sure what to expect, what they will learn, or how it is going to change their lives.

Not an easy undertaking! This week, let’s listen in as we chat with Colin and Andrea as they fill us in on their lives, and what has lead them to this point. They’ve already made huge strides in making their dreams a reality, and I know there is useful information for you as you continue to dream and plan your own adventure!

  1. Thank you so much for sharing this mini-series! I love the regular features about traveling families, but appreciate hearing about families in the same spot as we are. At the beginning of the summer my family of 4 sold nearly every we owned, including our house, and packed the rest of our belongings into a 6’x12′ Uhaul trailer. We moved cross-country to live on the beach by Lake Michigan and are hopefully transitioning into full-time travel around the US in 2016. We thought it would be sooner, but life happened, and we are taking it in stride while planning for the next step.

Looking forward to hearing more of these podcasts!

    • Thanks Kate! We are honored that you reached out to us and we’d love to help you in your travel plans in any way we can! Please keep in touch and let us know how your plans evolve! Safe travels! Erik
