akturnerVagabonding With Kids!

Today we are joined by author, AK Turner! AK and her husband traveled extensively before having kids. They have the same idea as so many others, to continue traveling just as often, even after the kids were born.

They currently are based in the States and take several extended trips per year to different parts of the world, usually 1-3 months at a time. Their main source of finding new places to go is by using HomeExchange.com. This awesome site allows you to swap homes with people around the world for free. What’s great about this is, if the home has kids living there and you’re traveling with kids, it makes it so much more enjoyable than staying in a hotel or hostel as it’s already set up for them (Toys, rooms, etc)

AK has written several books all about parenting, traveling with kids and finding the humor in it all. Her most famous is ‘Vagabonding with Kids.’ Check out her website here to find other titles and also check out Amazon to purchase them there.
