extra pack of peanutsLifestyle of Travel!

Today we’re joined by Travis and Heather Sherry of the web site: Extra Pack of Peanuts.

Recently returning from shooting an HGTV special in Switzerland, then cruising by Corsica for a week and then on to Kenya Africa, they are busy globetrotting!

Some tips:

Heather on the benefits of travel:

  • Travel brings out your true personality….good or bad.
  • You can only rely on the people you travel with, so travel forces you to work together.
  • People think the worst will happen during travel, in the big picture, it’s not that big of a deal. What’s the worst that could happen?!
  • It’s important to allow travel to change you.

Travis on dealing with fears:

  • You typically always have a way out, you are not going to be stranded with no way out.
  • Most fears are unfounded! The things you think will happen won’t, but you can plan on little snags.
  • In the end, the adventure is worth the minor inconveniences.
  • Practice leaving your comfort zone in small ways, and expand from there.
  • Usually, the inconveniences become your best stories!
